I just had the same problem. Ford design the intake manifold with plastic water crossover which cracks. The coolant will leak onto the top of the block and and then down the back of the engine. This intake design is a known defect and was ocvered under by Ford for 7 years past the date of mfg. The crack either is in the crossover or the thermostat housing. I happed on this when I found the same leak and traced it back to the thermostat housing. I changed the thermostat, but it leaked worse. You can pickup a aftermarket for $200 and it's about 4-6 hr job to replace.

yes and no, i wouldnt recomend it with aurora.. i had same leak from the oil pan and put in the bars and it stopped the leak for a couple weeks. after that it leaked the same as before. i would never use it again on any of my cars.. i had a friend put in new pan gasket and it stopped the leak... i believe this is pretty common with the aurora...is it 95?

Sounds like you have a rear engine main seal gone. Or you have a transmission front pump seal gone.

Is the oil red or is it brown? If it is red meaning it is tranny fluid then the front seal must be out of your transmission. If it is brown meaning it is engine oil the rear main seal could be out of the engine.

SOURCE: Engine and Gearbox oil pan leak ( probably gaskets )

That doesn't sound bad to me for a car with 120 on the clock.I would just keep an eye on the fluid levels on your trip and of course bring some extra trany fluid and oil just incase you need to add but I don't see that happening.
