I have recently purchased this ride and absolutely love it. It has a Check Engine Light on and throws 3 codes. 1.P0422 Catalyst efficiency below threshold, 2. P0014 Exhaust (B) camshaft position timing-overadvanced -bank1. and 3. P1655 Manufacturer controlled computer output circuit-camshaft reset valve.
I have had some dealers tell me I need to change the reset valve, the cat convertor and the O2 sensors. None of them are sure of the fix. Any suggestions about where to start? I would rather replace only what needs replacing to fix the CEL. Thanks
Suggestions: 1. Change the 02 sensor. 2. Double check with a e-test if the cat requires changing... that will likely depend on milage. 3. Check the plugs to see if you are burning rich... 4. Go to a scrap yard for the parts.. and replace them one at a time.. Note: Reset all condition codes after each part change. Hope it helps
