Question about 2002 Pontiac Montana
Ok, I need help. In the message centre on my 2002 Pontiac Montana I am
seeing a picture I've never seen before and its not in the manual. Its
red and fills the whole message centre (its circular with a jagged line
going through the bottom third of it and then the whole picture is
bracketed). Above, in the information centre the brake light and
parking light also comes on. It appeared then went off and returned
about 5 mins later and remained on.
Can anyone help? I'm afraid to drive it.......
Not what light you are referring to. Hard to picture it. does sound like a brake system warning. Be sure to check the brake fluid reservoir, it may be low on fluid.

How to Reset the CHANGE ENGINE OIL Message
1. With the ignition key in RUN but the engine off,
fully push and release the accelerator pedal slowly
three times within five seconds.
2. Turn the key to OFF.
If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message comes
back on, the engine oil life monitor has not reset.
Repeat the procedure.
