Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
When I put the heat on I smell anti freeze. Nothing is leaking. Can this be a heater core prblem and if so does it have to be replaced or does it have to be blown out and how do you do that. Thanks
If you smell antifreeze, the problem would be the heater core.
Another indication is when you turn on the defroster and see a oily film on your windshield.
The heater core would have to be replaced.
In order to do this the whole dashboard would have to come out to get the heater box out.
In a dealer the process would take about 4 hours from qualified mechanics who have done this before.
