Question about 2003 Ford Escort
A few months ago I jumped a buddies car and on his side he swapped the cables. If fried my alt. and battery, I have new alt and battery car started for a min then died. Now it wont start at all. The main fuze is good, the cam position sensor is good, the ignition coil is good plugs are fine and the plug wires are good. What could be causeing this problem, please help
Check all the large main fuses, one of these usually burns out in a reverse jump, that is most likely the problem. The fuse you need to check is fuse 1 and fuse 7 (both are maxi 40 AMP) in the the under the hood fuse box, also check fuse 9, this is the computer fuse, it is under the hood also.
