Question about 1995 Chevrolet S-10 CA Edition
We have a 97 Chevy Blazer with an in tank fuel pump. While driviing down the street, at about 50 mph. or truck suddenly just quit. It will not start again. We have just called a wrecker to take us home. Any ideas?
If the starter turns over, and you have checked for a spark, that leaves one thing, no fuel=bad fuel pump. A simple pressure test at a service center should give you some insight. I had a 96 Jeep the in tank fuel pump that went bad, and it would not start. It was just after I had fueled up at the gas station. It started, shut off, started shut off sooner, then no start at all. Maybe it is just a small electronic issue that a code was thrown for and will be a simpler fix. Good luck.
