Hi yes i sure can i have the same year of truck you have also. ok your fuel filter will be on the top of your engine towards the front just in back of the cover that says powerstroke diesel. it will be a little round canister that twists off like a lid on a jar. but before you do that you will want to open the fuel/water seperator valve by sliding the little yellow plastic lever located just under the fuel filter. allow this to drain for like 5 seconds. then make sure you close it back up. then just twist the round canistor counter clockwise until the lid can be taken off. once it is off discard of the whole lid due to the new filter will come with a new lid. also throw away the gaskits because your new filter will come with new ones. just be careful and watch for the big gaskit that seals the lid to the canister this is the way you will want to install your new gaskit. beveled side up. but before you install the new gaskets and filter make sure you put a little either motor oil (15w40) or just diesel fuel on the gasket for lube so you do not tear the gaskit when you tighten the new filter lid. but anyways just lube the gasket and install. then just take the fuel filter and install it into the canister and tighten. but do not over tighten just a good snug will work. ( i just use my hands to tighen and loosen them) so there is no need to have to put a wrench on this. after that make sure you wipe up any spilled fuel. and then get into your truck and turn on the key the electric fuel pump will automatically prime and fill the canister with fuel just turn your key on and wait until your wait to start light comes on and then start it up. Make sure you climb back under the hood and fell with your hand to check for any leaks around the canister. after that you are all done. you should replace this filer with every 2nd or 3rd oil change.

How do I change my fuel filter? 1999 Taurus, 3 liter

I would purchase a GOOD service manual at the auto supply house for your make model and year and it will tell you what tools you need so you can purchase them while you are there and it will tell you step by step the procedure.... But if I am not mistaken your fuel filter on that year make and model is in the frame under the driverside door, I could be wrong as Ford puts them in the frame in many different locations on different makes and models, but I am pretty sure you will have to buy a specialized tool at the auto supply house to take the fuel line off I had to have it to remove and change the Fuel filter on my 1998 Ford F-150 Titan V-8.
I hope that my advice helps you out please do not forget to rate/vote or/and place a testimonial...

Need to find location of fuel filter for 2002 Ford Explorer 4D, 4WD, 4.61 litre V8, XLT

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Quick release tool (Avail from most Napa auto parts stores)
  • Eye protection
  1. Step 1 Ensure your vehicle has had time to cool down since the last time it was driven. The engine block should be cool to the touch.
  2. Step 2 Remove the gas cap from your Ford Explorer and locate the Schrader valve attached to the vehicle's fuel line.
  3. Step 3 Don eye protection and depress the Schrader valve until no more gas and air comes out.
  4. Step 4 Locate the fuel filter. Your fuel filter will be located underneath the edge of the vehicle on the driver's side. There may be a plastic cover covering the filter. If so, unbolt it and remove it.
  5. Step 5 Take the safety clips off of the ends of the filter. Then, use a "quick release" tool to remove the fuel lines that are attached to the filter.
  6. Step 6 Connect your new filter to the fuel lines using the quick release tool to clamp the lines to each end of the filter.
  7. Step 7 Reinstall the safety clips on the new fuel filter by clamping them on each end of the filter.
  8. Step 8 Start your Ford Explorer and run at idle for five minutes. Visually verify underneath the body of the vehicle that there are no leaks from the fuel filter

Replace fuel filter on 2000 mazda protege

A 2001 Mazda Protege (actually, all models from 1999-2003 including the DX, LX, ES, Mazdaspeed, and Protege 5) does not have an inline fuel filter. The only fuel filter it has is a "strainer" or a "screen", which looks like a nylon mesh "sock". This strainer is connected to the fuel pump, located in the gas tank. Although this fuel strainer does not require periodic replacement, it is recommended that it be changed if you are replacing the fuel pump.

Check fuel pressure you need at least 40psi to operate injectors on a 4.6 or 5.4 liter motor. If it reads below this you have a weak fuel pump and or plugged fuel filter. If everything checks out go to step two.

Step Two

Sounds like you need to replace both coil packs. And you should do the plugs and wires.

Fuel filter location

Unless it's a 4.6 liter V8, it's on the passenger side about 2 feet towards the rear of the front tire with a metal guard over it on the frame, two bolts, just did mine.
