located in the fuse panel under the dash to the left of the steering colume. there is also a relay for the fan under the hood In the relay box. make sure its not the cooling fan motor itself as these are a common problem.
Fuse box is under the dash to the left of the brake pedal and has a black door on it. If the fuse is ok you might have to unbolt the airbag ( 4 bolts on the back of stering wheel)and check to see if the horn plug is plugged into the steering column. This plug has a spring on the end of it, if its out reinstall in the small hole and turn clockwise til it locks in place.
Located behind the left side of the instrument panel.
Cooling Fan Controller Module

Cooling Fan Relay
Located in the air conditioning cooling fan control module.
Electronic Control Assembly
Located under the left side of the instrument panel.
Electronic Engine Control Power Relay
Located behind the glove box on the right side of the instrument panel.
Fuel Pump Relay
Located behind the glove box.
Located in the fuse block.
Let me know if this helps. If not, let me know.
The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering column.
Fuses are a one-time circuit protection. If a circuit is overloaded or shorts, the fuse will blow thus protecting the circuit. A fuse will continue to blow until the circuit is repaired.
Main fuse box located on driver's side to the left of the steering wheel, above the brake pedal.
The relay for your cooling fan is located Under hood, passenger side, front side of wheel well,
mounted in relay panel. I would also recommend testing or inspecting the coolant temperature sensor as well. it is located Under hood, passenger side, upper engine area, above
water pump, mounted in intake manifold
The fuse box in the Ford Taurus is located under the front dash on the driver's side. It is near the brake pedal. It will have a cover on it. There is also a power distribution box which contains high current fuses on the right side. It is located near the battery in the engine compartment. It will also have a cover. Good luck and hope this help.
Under the hood on the drivers side, just forward of the shock tower, you will see what is called an "under hood fuse center". On the cover you can see the various fuses and relays that are located in the fuse center.
One of those relays is the coolant fan relay. Remove the top cover of the fuse center to gain access to the relay.
Hope this answers your question, good luck.
