Question about 1998 Cadillac Catera
98 cadillac catera old ecu was sparked on the battery and the car hasn't started since. car ran purfect till i goofed up
the new ecu will start the car but it then dies immidiately.
i tried the 10 min. learn process to get nothing. on other forums they say that this is something the dealer has to do with a machine on this certain setup. but on other gm products the 10min. learn process will work but not on the catera. is there something i can do or do i have to go to the STEALERSHIP! thanks any help will be appriciated.
Your problem is with the key transponder install your old computer and use your sapre key. I f you dont have a spare key you will have to replace keys and transponder module on the ignition switch which is a problem because new module must program by someone with a Tech2 Flash Scanner only.
