Hey cm_szasz!
Here's a diagnostic procedure for the power seats: http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/tech/service/850/PowerSeats.pdf

And here's a load of wiring diagram including power seats: http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/tech/service/850/SystemWiringDiagrams.pdf

The above links are for '95 models, but as far as I know they're identical.
Get the multimeter out and start checking voltages :)
Good luck mate!

Hi, I have a 1995 volvo 850. Its not turbo but I dont really know what other specifications you might need to know in order to help me with my problem. The lights on my dashboard, air conditioning and the...

manufactuers put fuse panels insome wierd places . you may want to look on both ends of the dash ,under the dash, in the glove box, and under the rear seat. but back to the dash lights not working, do all the exterior lights work as they should? if so you may want to check the panel light dimmer switch to make sure you have power coming through it.

The front driver's seat in in a reclining position and will not move. where is the motor for the front seat located?

The motor is in the seat back on the side closest to the door. It is very common for the cable to go bad on these models. If you can hear the motor running when you activate it with the switch, the problem is with the cable.

I need a wiring diagram for '94 volvo 8-way power seat

Could this be what you're looking for?
I'm a little bit confused as to what you mean by power seats... Do you mean heated seats or seats with electric motors for adjusting them? Anyways, the document linked to below has a circuit diagram of heated seats on page 43, as well as a lot of other components of an 850. Have a look, and good luck!

Power seats wont move

If the other functions work, like tilt, etc. There may be someting jammed in one of the tracks, like money, a penny will do this. Also, these seats have cable problems from the motor to the seat transmissions. The seat will prob need removed, shop usually charges 3 hrs labor to repair.

Both front heated seats not working

Page 43 in the document linked to below is a wiring diagram of the heated seats in an 850. If you're lucky some wires have come loose and are hanging under the seats, if you're unlucky you might have to do some shredding of the seats in order to replace broken parts. If so there is a fairly inexpensive repair kit made specifically for this purpose, but I don't have the part number available right now. Arm yourself with a multimeter and get to it!

Good luck!
