My jeep Cherokee started the other day, but the next day it wouldn't start. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank U

which engine?
what year?

the all worked before , all. (unless a yugo...)
but to start any engine,
you need to crank it, does your's crank properly or is it silent.
until we know that, all answers are blind guessing.

mine push starts
and gravity starts atop hill, with my manual stick tranny.
3 ways to start.

wont crank

clean the battery lugs. I do every 6months.
if it wont crank call AAA tow
or charge your dead battery
or test battery (lots ways ask)

or start in neutral (a/t box answer) or wiggle shifter while cranking.
or hit side starter casing, with hammer, like hitting 6 penny nail, not rail road spike.

get it serviced?

How can Mercedes battery regain full power?

If you are sure that the cables are ok, replace the battery. When they lose charge in cold weather that is below freezing, they freeze. The ice ruins them internally.

I have a short that is draining my battery just started no probelm beforeare do i start w

You need a electrical multitester meter able to measure in dc current mode, 10amp range should be more than enough. Nothing flashy, cheap and cheerful will do. Make sure the car alarm is off. Disconnect one terminal from your battery and connect your meter 'in series' between the battery terminal and the detached terminal lead. Almost all the circuits in the car should be dead when doors are closed. Ease each fuse out one at a time and look at the response of the meter. At some point you will locate a fuse that on its removal causes no current to flow - most likely the culprit but heck that this is not just the clock. To be sure of your findings checkout the meter response to opening a door and having the interior lights come on. Remove the fuse that powers the interior lights and again check your meter. A process of elimination will highlight where the problem lies. Some years back by girlfriend spent a day shifting a whole pile of stuff in her trunk. Next day car was as dead as a door nail. Traced the fault, using the above method down to a bent metal tab in the trunk. The tab's job was to make contact with the trunk light interrupt switch. When the trunk lid was closed the light should go off but it was on the whole time but we could not see it. I bent the tab back and the car was fixed for good. Crazy!

Battery is being drained by something, its new

2 things, not enought cold cranking amps, or while you where trying to start the car the brushs inside the starter caused a ark on the armature causing the starter not to be working at 100% option 1 have a drain test done or 2 replace the starter the drain test will show how much amps its taking to spin the starter if its pulling a high amount of amps/votage to spin the start then replace starter

Battery goes dead after a couple days. was told it could be anti-lock break module...how hard and expensive are these to replace

Your battery going dead every couple days has absolutly nothing to do with your anti-lock break module. (unless it is causing a short or something and staying on-which i doubt.) Have you ever thought that maybe the battery may be dead and old and need replacing. you should test to see how strong the battery is first with a volt meter or load tester. batterys go dead all the time- more so this time of year where it starts to get cold out. If your battery is new or just got it. (usuaslly 2 or 3 years you should be fine). - it may be your alternator isnt charging the battery anymore. Make sure all dome lights are off when the doors are closed. or that nothing else is left on
