My 1994 bonneville will not blow heat. the radiator is new the thermostat is new and i bled the system. there is no water falling in the car from the heater core but my low coolant light keeps coming on what could it be?

low water in the cooling system--check at radiator cap for full radiator
blocked radiator cores --have a flow test done by a radiator shop
corroded fins on the radiator cores --replace radiator
faulty thermostat---check thermostat operation /replace if necessary
air lock in cooling system---have the air bled out
have a compression test done to check for head gasket/cracked head
Hi Mark, I've just had the same problem with my 2007 Sante Fe. After replacing water pump, radiator, thermostat, etc, turns out it was the cylinder head gasket. No water in oil, but engine pressurises the water system, blowing water out the overflow. Cheers
Probably a blown head gasket. If excessive steam is coming out of tail pipe and coolant is disappearing that would be my guess. Also engine compression can leak by head gasket into cooling system causing water to blow out of radiator. Make sure though when you purged air out of block you thought about it having to fill heater core. It could be trapped air in system. I used to take temp sensor out and fill block until coolant came out of it.
you didnt mention changing the thermostat, common culprit of this problem, the thermostat is in the waterneck at the motor end of the top radiator hose, easy fix, be sure to use new waterneck gasket when putting back together
make sure system is well bled of air. Open radiator cap and start engine. Run until hot and thermostat is open (coolant flowing in radiator. Keep radiator full and also open any bleeder ports on thermostat housing or in hoses until no air comes out.
bubbling into the overflow may mean a head gasket is gone, it may also mean the radiator or thermostat is blocked. or there is a leak
Clean and flush radiator, check the radiator fins for corrosion
pressure test coolant system

Sounds like the thermostat has stayed closed you will need to change it as it will blow the head gasket, very common on this model.
Also when you bled it though you may have left some air in the system this would also stop the heating working, they can be a pain to bleed through keep sqeezing the water hoses as you are bleeding it through and do not bleed it from the lower part of the radiator as it will be hard to get the air out as air will stay at the top, you should bleed from the top.
Remove and raise upper hose at thermostat end and remove lower rad hose. Fill rad with a hose and watch for flow from bottom rad hose and/ or bottom rad hose connecton.......water should fall though rad easily. Honda rads are cheap.....any restriction....replace rad.
Remove thermostat....fill thermostat housing with hose and watch for water flow at bottom rad hose. Flush good.
Remove heater hoses.......flush back and forth until a good flow is present "With heater control set to hot" if no or poor flow....replace heater core.
Stop leak can plug everything.
Also.......not likely causing over heating....but ....at your mileage,if you do not know if the timing belt has been changed.....CHANGE IT NOW! Water pump is optional at this mileage.
You have an air pocket in the cooling system. To bled it out you will have to park vehicle on an incline or jack up the front end untill the radiator cap is higher than the heater core. The remove radiator cap and run engine until warm then hold rpm to about 1200 rpm's and top off coolant level until you have no more bubbles.
