Question about 1995 Lincoln Town Car
I'm replacing my rotors and removed the caliper, but i need to remove the bracket that the cliper bolted to ,so i can pull the rotor off,i just dont know what size to 2 bolts are that are on the back?any idea? Thank you
Well one thing i have found over the years is that higher end cars have their own special tools. Mercades is the biggest teacher of this the best bet is to contack your local Ford, Mercury, Lincoln dealer for the correct size and possibly even a loaner tool. most of the time you must give the dealer the face value of the tool, and when returned you get the money back. Let me know how it works.

An impact driver, No. 3 phillips screwdriver bit, and a hammer may be needed to remove the retaining screw. It is fairly easy to destroy the screw slots using an ordinary phillips screwdriver to remove the tightly driven screw (see photo).
