Question about 2001 Dodge Intrepid
If it is the same code they found on mine(2001)Intrepid,when "they" changed my trans fluid;then it is the code for the gas cap! If this is what it is, then there is nothing to worry about. In short of losing some gas, appox.an eye droppers worth for every 1-2 gallons of gas, thats nothing;but, get the cap replced, and it must be the same cap(from the dealer)that was originally installed on the car. These original caps tend to wear out after about 30-40k miles or so;So just get the cap replaced at a dodge chrysler shop/dealer.P.s. like I said, out of 16gallons (from full),you'll lose about a 1/3 cup toyal.I have not done mine as of yet,but hope to soon!! By the way, do you know or any one can tell me how to remove the drive belt?I can't figure out yet in short of getting a manual on how to do this,on fords you losen the tensioner,on this one(Intrepid 2.7)the tensioner is on the accessory belt side! so please if you can or somone you know tell me how.Thank's;and I hope I was helpful to you.In Jesus name,God bless and keep on-a rollin'!!!! P.s.
