Where the power steering box is at is making a weird buzzing sound when my husband turns or even starts the car. Does the power steering unit/box need to be replaced. And is it worth replacing?

You have a rack and pinion not a gear box. Have you checked the fluid level? You may want to try and have the power steering system flushed before you replace anything. Is it cold where you are? Does the noise go away after the car warms up? Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

I have a 2011 Nissan Cube. It makes a loud racket when turning i start it in the morning, the whines for several minutes. Husband said sounds like power steering pump when it goes out.

Check the power steering fluid first and make sure it is at the proper level. Also, look under the car for any wire or other stuff that may have gotten caught in the wheel and steering mechanism.

My car wont start and electric systems seem to be spacing out

That sounds like most systems are being under-voltaged, check the battery voltage and charge it or replace it if necessary

Trying to locate turn signal relay flasher on a 2000 chevy monte carlo ss

The Monte uses a single flasher unit that integrates turn signal and flasher functions. It is mounted in a junction block that is attached to the firewall just to the left of the steering column under the instrument panel. To get at it you have to remove the the sound insulation panel that is attached to the lower steering cover and then the lower steering cover as well.

Y acura tl 2004 will start after a few times, it makes a buzzing noise sounds like its coming from the fuse box

Relays will often stick or even engage and disengage---try first tapping on each relay to see if one will allow it to start. Most of these plug in.

Power steering pump installation

Matt,
If you hear a buzzing or zinging type of sound when you turn the wheels right or left, that means there is still some air in the pump or pump return lines. To stop the noise and protect the pump, block the rear wheels, place the transmission in park, and apply the parking brake. Jack up the front tires approximately two inches from the ground, making sure they are supported with something strong under the chassis so that it doesn't fall. Loosen the power steering cap just enough to where it will stay on, yet release any remaining air from the system, start the engine, very slowly rotate the front wheels to the right then to the left, this will release any air from the pump and the pump returning lines. When you don't hear any of the buzzing sounds, that means the air was released. Turn off he engine, remove the power steering cap, you will see the small air bubbles rising to the top. If you get any more buzzing sounds from the power steering system, repeat this process adding just enough fluid recommended. I know this sounds unusual, I have worked on Dodges for 43 years and my dad the main mechanic taught me this from his experience. This will also work on many other vehicles with power steering. Hope this helps with your power steering installation.

Volvo xc90 2004 buzzing in steering wheel, clunck noise under car

that sounds like you are low on power steering fluid ... when the level gets low then the pump starts to ingest air and that produces a buzzing sound when you turn the wheel .....i would add or change the fluid and check for leaks and mechanical loosness in the under car linkages ...you can have that checked at your next oil change .

Power steering pump is making noise. resivoir is full . do the lines ever get clogged?

Power steering pumps do give up.If its a whirring/buzzing sound whilst you turn the wheel,it is a good sign the pump needs to be replaced.Exchange units from a power steering/transmission shop is usually the cheapest way to go and not a dealer.Hope this helps you
