Where is # 1 cylinder located on a 2008 Hyundai Tucson

The location of the number 1 cylinder in a 2008 Hyundai Tucson is determined by the engine type and layout.
Hyundai Tucson 2008 models comes with 2 different engine types :
  • 2.0L I4 engine
  • 2.7L V6 engine
In both engines, the firing order is 1-3-4-2, and the cylinder layout is inline or straight.
The cylinder layout of the 2008 Hyundai Tucson with 2.0L I4 engine is inline 4-cylinder, meaning that the cylinders are arranged in a line, one after the other. In this configuration, the number 1 cylinder is typically located at the front of the engine, on the driver's side.
The cylinder layout of the 2008 Hyundai Tucson with 2.7L V6 engine is V6 engine, meaning that the cylinders are arranged in a "V" shape. In this configuration, the number 1 cylinder is typically located at the front of the engine, on the driver's side, and it's the first cylinder on the left bank.

Where is the engine number for the 2007 Hyundai Tucson located?

It is amazing what google knows - why must you ask someone else to do your task?
The engine number likely refers to the serial number. On a Hyundai Tucson, you can find this number on the lower left side of the engine itself.

Not many engines are repaired internally anymore. They are replaced and it is usually very expensive. Regular maint. will keep these vehicles running for a long time. Poor maint. will cost lots of money as the miles pile up. Looks like your Hyundai went quite a few miles before it required an engine.

Where can we locate the engine number of hyundai sonata model 99

It is either a 2.4L 4 cylinder, or a 2.5L V6. I double checked with Hyundai and this is all they show to offer for 1999. If you are still unsure, check how many spark wires you have, 4 or 6, and this will tell you how many cylinders you have. Hope this helps.
