DO YOU HAVE 12 VOLTS ON INJECTOR WIRE ON ONE SIDE WITH KEY ON? IF SO ARE YOU GETTING SPARK? IF YOU HAVE NEITHER YOU MAY NEED A NEW CRANK SENSOR. VERY COMMON ON THIS ENGINE WHEN THERE IS A LOSS OF SPARK AND INJECTOR PULSE. INJECTOR PULSE(GROUND SIDE)IS CONTROLLED BY THE COMPUTER. IF YOU HAVE SPARK BUT NO INJECTOR PULSE AND 12 VOLTS ON INJECTOR FEED WIRE YOU MAY HAVE A FAUTY ECM(ENGINE COMPUTER)

SOURCE: fuel injectors spraying to much gas

to be honest, with an 89, all you can do is replace the injector. how an injector works is there is a small amount of current that is run to a coil around a rod (if you are unaware, this produces magnetic fields). the magnetic field produced pulls up what is usually a small ball, allowing fuel to go through the tip of the injector nozzle. all you can do to fix this is to buy different injectors.

just a question..why do you think they are spraying too much fuel? because it may just be that you have excessive fuel pressure and your fuel pressure regulator is bad. hit me back.

No gas on injector carburator

Well a 95 Chevy Suburban would have fuel injection, so no carb. Have you checked fuel pressure, and do you have power and a ground signal going to the injectors ?

Hello, we ran out of gas while driving, replaced gas now truck wont start. its a 2006 chevy suburban. it turns over but wont catch to start. help

First you will need to check that fuel is coming to the injectors. One way to do this, but you must be very careful, is to loosen the connection at the injector body, turn the key and check to see fuel coming through the tube. If it is then from there it could be the fuel injectors. Good Luck.

Fuel is not being released thru the fuel injectors of my 1996 chevy blazer-is there a cut off switch somewhere?

there should not be an cut off switch maybe your fuse that controls the gas to go through the fuel injector has blow or the wire is touching another wire. Check your fuse box
