If the crankcase position sensor fails you will not get a spark. This has occurred twice to me and the repair costs are $200 to $300. You can do it yourself and look for the sensor online for $40 or so. You can also find installation information.

Then its a problem with your electrical system, possibly your distributor or the wiring inbetween.

2002ford tausar wont spark injectors for it to start

when the computer sees no ignition spark going to the spark plugs, it shuts down the fuel system. it wont keep sending fuel and injecting it because the cylinders would have too much raw gas accumulating. the gas would end up in the oil. very bad. so first, see if you have spark at a plug wire. if there is, inspect the plugs, if theres not, get a code reader and do things right. dont unplug anything else. read the codes in the memory. write them down. clear the memory. service the codes that indicate loss of ignition first.
this car may have been in LOS (limited operating strategy ) till the plugs fouled. the LOS is caused by system faults that required correction for too long. now, with new plugs, and the memory erased, you can run codes again to see whats at fault when you try to start. if theres no spark sent to the plugs at that point, then the pinpoint test is valid to run for loss of spark. dont forget to change the oil !!! report your findings or discuss it with your tech at the ford dealer. so many erroneous tests, codes and confusers may come up that he runs your vin and finds tsb info you may need to clear this up.
after the memory has been cleared you could have fewer codes, one code or no codes. now put a test light on an injector to verify pcm signals are going to the injectors. dont replace parts that dont fail pinpoint tests

REPLACE SPARK PLUGS ON MY 99 MIRAGE AND IT RAN PERFECT FOR A WHILE THEN IT STARTED PUTTIN AND SPITTING BLACK SMOKE FROM THE EXHAUST...WHAT COULD THAT BE?

if you have replaced the spark plugs yourself you may have cracked the ceramic on a plug... this will cause a misfire, remove all the plugs and check them very carefuly for cracks etc.. and carefuly replace them but dont drop them into the holes and dont overtighten them and start them with your hands before useing a ratchet.

My 93 honda prelude dont start i did a full overhaul but i can get it to start timing is right so i dont know wat to do next

Timing is right, but the firing order is incorrect then it could not start. Make sure connection at the spark plug is in the firing order. Let get back to the basic: need spark and fuel. After several cranking, take plug # 1 out to see if it wet. If it is wet then you have fuel. If it is dry then you don't have fuel. Start to find out what is the root cause for fuel not coming. Now touch the spark plug to the engine chassis and have a helper to start engine. If there is spark strong then you have spark. If no spark then you know what to do: find the root cause of the problem. If you have spark and fuel then need to recheck timing by Top Dead Center: Piston #1 is up, mark at camshaft and 0 mark at crankshaft all line up together while intake and exhaust valve closed. Good luck.

I need to change the spark plugs and i dont know where to start?

Go through your spark plug wires and mark which plug it is on. Once you have done this then you can pull the wires off each spark plug. Once the plug wires are off take a spark plug socket and gently apply some pressure to loosen the spark plug. Once its loose you should be able to reach down and remove the plug by hand. Once you have the plug off grab your new plug. Make sure it has the correct gab setting for your engine size and then install the new plug. once you have the new plug in gently snug it down. Do this with the rest of your plugs. Once all your plugs are in place and snugged down then put your plug wires back on each plug (This is where the labeling comes in handy). It is also a good idea to get a good set of plug wires and just replace them while you are at it.

How to check if there is spark on 94 jeep cherokee

U pull a spark plug wire off, then stick a plastic handle screwdriver into the end of the plug wire and hold it next to metal of the engine, have someone crank the engine over and you will hear and see a spark

Ihave changed the spark plugs but i dont know if put the caps in

Not sure what you're asking. The only order that matters is the order of the spark plug wires. There isn't an order for the spark plugs themselves. So are u looking for the order of the spark plug wires?

Changing spark plug wires

WEll u dont need to remove anything This is what i did lift your car up with a jack. where you oil filter is you will see you plug wires running into your (ICM) Ignition Module unplug them and slide them to the top of your motor. dont get them mixed up otherwise your timeing will be messed up and your car wont start. on the ICM from the top to bottom the plug numbers are 2,3,1,4 and on top of the moter from left to right 1,2,3,4 just make for sure u have the right order..
