I have an audi a8 1998, was driving and it all of a sudden bogged down, I was told it was the fuel filter from a certified mechanic shop, they said it would be 1400 to repair, i changed the fuel pump and spark plugs, it starts but boggs down , need help before i jump off a building(humor)

A PURE CHINA CAR, NO YEAR TOLD BUT IS FIRST GEN. CAR.
2003 FIRST ONE?
WHAT DOES CLOCK MEAN, i GUESS RPM TACHOMETER ?
WE SAY ENGINE WEAK AND WILL NOT REV. UP.
THE CORRECT WORDS IS ENGINE HAS LOST MOST OF ITS POWER.HORSE POWER.
DUE TO MISFIRING OR LEAN BURN BOGGING.
NOT SURE ME WHAT TAKE ON MEANS(AUSTRALIAN SLANG?)
SO DID NOT CHECK ALL FUSEs FIRST. and SCAN PCM NEXT.
AND CLEAN FILTERS
NO MILES TOLD ODOMETER KM.
SEEM TO ME IF SPARK IS GOOD AND CAM BELT NOT SLIPPING
THE FUEL IS LEAN AND ENGINE BOGS SMOOTHLY
AND IS FUEL LEAN OR WE SAY FUEL STARVATION.
SCAN ERRORS MISFIRE P0300 OR SEE LEAN CODES. FUEL TRIM.
FUEL FILTER CLOGGED
FPR BAD
OR FUEL PUMP BAD.
OR BAD FUEL
OR BAD FUEL CLOGGED UP INJECTORS
IN A REAL SHOP THE FUEL RAIL PRESSURE IS TESTED (A TOOL)
AND NOW WE KNOW WHAT IS UP. (7 TESTS DOWN NOW 1 TOOL)
PER THE SERVICE MANUAL ON FUELING TESTS.
NO YEAR TOLD OR ENGINE OR VIN, TOLD.
1996-2002 MADE. AND SOLD.WITH 3 ENGINES.(OPTED)
all those the scan tool tells you P03xx errors. got those scanned?
GENERIC ANSWER NOW:
IT NEEDS SERVICE IN A SHOP EVEN A BASIC TUNEUP.
FILTERS ,FLUIDS, SPARK PARTS. BELTS? BRAKES?
WILD GUESS IF YOU FEEL THE MISFIRE, IT MAY JUST BE BAD SPARK FUEL LOSS IS SMOOTH WEAK POWER LOSS.
SPARK LOSS IS VIOLENT, i CAN NOT DRIVE IT AND FELL THAT.
3 ENGINES 1belt and 2 chain drive cams m43 belt
but first I see if the cam is belt drive and that can not be allowed to slip. IF DID, CAM SHAFT RETARDDS(SIC) AND BOGS.
next is spark not fuel, those gas engine do no run lacking good spark to burn said fuel. ok>?
fueling tests are last, or have proof spark is good and engine !
compression is over 150PSI. on all cyl.
.
m43 is belt cam <<< if this is your engine this must be replaced.
m52 chain cam
S50 chain,
car is over 20 years old
lots of service not done on time is cause. (ENDLESS STORY)
in order, engine ,spark , fuel
fuel does not burn right./w bad engine or spark. pure OTTO cycle physics.. (ASE tech)
The symptoms you're describing could be caused by a few different issues, but given the fact that you mentioned the fuel pump whining loudly, it's possible that the fuel pump is failing or not providing enough fuel pressure to the engine.
Here are a few things you can check to troubleshoot the problem:
Check the fuel filter: A clogged fuel filter can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine and cause similar symptoms. Check the fuel filter and replace it if it's dirty or clogged.
Check the fuel lines: Make sure that the fuel lines are not kinked or damaged and that there are no leaks. A damaged fuel line can cause a loss of fuel pressure and lead to a bogged down engine.
Check the fuel pump: If the fuel pump is whining loudly, it may be failing. Check the fuel pressure with a gauge to see if it's within the manufacturer's specifications. If it's not, then the fuel pump may need to be replaced.
Check the spark plugs: Make sure the spark plugs are in good condition and properly gapped. Fouled or worn spark plugs can cause a loss of power and bogging down of the engine.
If you're not comfortable performing these checks yourself, it's best to take the snowmobile to a qualified mechanic who can diagnose and fix the issue. text me on Whatsapp +233557248347
no VIN 8th digit told.(engine)
well; if a tune up fails (spark plugs) and Spark COP boots.
then check fuel pressure by the book.
bogs under load,
stalls means engine stop spinning as in zero RPM./
loss of power or bogging , and not violent loss, means mostly fuel supply is weak. or low injector rail pressure found
a shop has the tool to do that, why not put them in the loop>?
Usually a sign of a fuel problem, either too much or too little.
Too much could be several problems including a clogged air filter, too little could be a weak fuel pump or other issue.
A mechanic would check fuel pressure and air flow first.
Sounds like the fuel filter is getting clogged. It will flow enough fuel for normal driving, but can't supply fuel for full throttle acceleration, causing the engine to bog down. Replacing the fuel filter with a new one should fix the problem.
Does the check engine light come on? If not you could possibly need a good tune up including plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, cap and rotor and plugs.
if this is an aftermarket filter, go get one from the dealer. if you have the old filter put this one back on at least so you can drive it. ive put out car fire and dragged people from them they are not fun.
have you checked the catalytic converter? mine did that to me and i replaced almost everything on the truck before i got it to a shop and they told me the convverter was shot.i put a new one on and now it runs like new again
