1 heat range higher as far as plugs are concerned due to engine age.Hotter plug will burn off any excess oil(within limits)and give a slightly better burn of the fuel.Have fitted non resistor plugs NGK V Grooves and had great reults compared to factory fitted resistor types. Also gap the plugs 1 point lower than specification as you get a fatter spark which over time burns off to original specs anyway and equates to more time and use out of them before replacing again. The air filter should be kept clean and if not already done a bottle/can of injector cleaner would help to give a better and more consistant spray pattern.Have the oxygen sensor checked to make sure its operating with in specification because over time it gets covered in contaminants etc and gives the ECU the wrong message.Engine must have no intake leaks.Check around the injector seals with carby cleaner sprayed lightly with engine running,if engine stops or reacts the seals will need replacing as any leaks will make the engine richen up to compensate for poor air/fuel mixture.good luck

What is the best mitsubishi lancer 2000 / 1600 cc motor gas consumption ???? last time i checked it was 400 k.m per 41 liter . is it good or it could be better ?!?!?

the factory mileage for fuel should be 7.2 litres per 100km but the fuel consumption will change as the car gets older so its only normal but you could improve on your fuel consumption by tuning the car

hope this helps XD
