The power windows have a circuit breaker, check the fuse box cover for it position in the box, if that is ok then there is a problem with the Generic Electronic Module, that can be tested by a Ford dealer for codes and proper fuction of locks, windows and many other systems it controls.

Why won't windows roll down from main switch

If you remove the switch in the effected door, you can pull the wires to that switch and then run a 12 volt source power supply(i've used a battery from a cordless drill. It doesnt take much juice) directly to the wires, making certain that you swap the wires from pos. to neg. trying it in both directions, This will ensure you've got a good wire harness from the main over to the remote window. If the window moves, it's the switch. If it stays up, then you have a bad wire.>hope this helps

Windows will not roll up or down unless it rains in them

Common problem with windows sticking. The rain is working as a lubricant.

By far the best solution for this is to roll the window down (Help by pushing them by hand gently if you have to) and then spray a silicone based househould polish into the guides that the windows run up and down in. DO NOT use a wax polish, it will work at first, but then get sticky and gum things up. If the product is familiar to you, I find "Mr Sheen" (The one WITHOUT WAX in it). is an excellent thing to use.

2001 audi drivers side window will not roll up

can you hear the motor working? its possible the motor/regulator assembly has given up. have someone who knows audis' look at this and if the repair is too pricey given this joyous time of year(LOL) have them at least bypass the motor and prop or secure the window into place until the neccessary repairs acn be made. happy holidays.

Window no go

Does the power window motor run when you go to close the window, but fails to raise the glass? If this is the case, there are bushings (plastic) in the motor that wear out, and the window won't close. I found the bushings on ebay, I've heard they are also available at parts stores in 'HELP' packaging, either way it's only a few $ for them, much cheaper than replacing the motor. If the motor quits, it's probably time to change it, as long as it didn't quit from a fuse blowing, but the bushings worked for me.

Fuse box diagram

it can't possibly be a fuse if your front windows are working.
i also have a 94 taurus and this same thing has occured, the L-R window won't move at all. but all of my other windows work. it is probably a bad window motor. I've heard a lot about 94's having this problem. take it to the dealer and see if they have any Technical Service Bulletins about this.
