IT TAKES TWO I'M TOLD...I NEED AN ANSWER A.S.A.P. WORK AND SCHOOL...... PLEASE HELP!!!!
On the 2.4l there are two cam sensors. They are located on both sides, rear of the engine, just under the valve/rocker arm covers. They are bolted on with one 10mm bolt.
The camshaft sensor is on the end of the drivers side of the head. It's a black plastic round looking piece held on with 2 bolts and has a connector.
The crankshaft sensor is on the back side of the engine more towards the passenger side. It can be accessed from under the vehicle.

This might be new enough that there is one behind the timing cover on the passenger side of the engine. This would require the removal of the timing belt in order to be serviced.
