Question about 1996 Saturn SL
I HAVE A 1997 SATURN 200K RUNS NEAR PERFICT. WHEN ITS WARMED UP AND DRIVING IN NORMAL CONTITIONS WHEN I SHIFT GEARS THE IDLE JUMPS UP LIKE THE THROTTLE IS STUCK BUT ITS NOT WHEN I COME TO A STOP IT SITS HIGHER ABOUT 2500 THEN DROPS TO NORMAL AFTER A FEW SECONDS. ANY SUGGESTIONS.
Pull the engine coolant temp sensor, I know it sounds funny but do it if your looking at the engine it is located on the right side of the head.. chances are the ceramic tip on the sensor is cracked.. 15 dollar fix or so should take away from the high idle.. let me know how it works
