1996 Ford Subaru where is the turn signal flasher hidden
1996 ford Taurus - the 4-way flasher and turn signal flasher works sometimes and sometimes not. I tried to find the flasher unit but could'nt find it. All I saw underneath was the box for all the fuses, but it'as not there? Also what is the aftermarket part number at an Auto Part Store or do I have to go to a dealer.

Take the turn signal lever and jiggle it, a lot. If they start working, the switch is bad. You can also turn on the hazards and take hold of the button and push it left , right , forward and back and see if they start working. If so, replace the turn signal/ hazard switch.
