Question about 2002 Ford F250 Super Duty SuperCab
If i dont let my truck run for 10-15 mins before i drive it i wont get more than a block and it will cut out and die. when i get it started it feels like its running on half of cylinders for a few mins before it evens out. while running rough if i hit the gas large clouds of bluish smoke out of tail pipe . also have a strong smell of diesel.
I have a 3002 f-250 7.3 diesel if I dont let it warm up it will run extremely rough and even stall out ..how can i solve this problem?

Well, you have to let diesels warm up before you drive them so the engine gets warm and it may not sound right at first because if its not warm the compression gets off and doesnt fire right. If you try to give it too much gas before its warm, extra diesel will get in the cylinders and misfire. Then when it does fire, there is a lot of extra fuel in it so that causes the smoke and smell. You should always let it warm up for a bit before driving when you havent driven it for a while.
