Question about 1987 Ford Mustang
I own a 1990 Ford Mustang GT and I have starting issues. Now if I make a short sprint down the street and back it will start right up,but if I allow it to reach its normal operating temp the starter will drag.It will have to be jumped off. I've had the starter replaced ,the alternater replaced, timing checked, added new battery cables ,and even replaced the battery with one with more CCA's.Nothing has worked I'm stumped. As long as the car doesn't reach it normal oper temp its fine ,but the longer I drive it the harder it is to start.
Are you sure its not an engine overheating issue Maybe have a faulty eng temp sensor.Sounds like engine is tightening up Considering what youve replaced ICan you check power supply to starter when its tight?
