I installed a new radio in my 1998 acura cl but when i put the dash back in place my turning signals and hazards stopped working.....what's wrong and how can i fix it?.....thanks in advance for your help

This means that the plug for the hazard switch is not pushed in all the way. The turn signals will not work when the emergency flashers are disconnected.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm the smartest guy on the block and just knew this. I actually had the center console apart on my 99 3.0CL and had to drive it with everything disconnected. The first thing I noticed was that the turn signals did not work.

I need to replace the pcv valve on my 1998 monte carlo, where is it and how is it replaced

Hi, Friend:

Your PCV Valve is located in your Valve Cover,it will have a hose running to it, to remove just pull the Hose out the PCV will be either on the hose or in the rubber groumet in the valve cover.

Its very simple to change and very in-expensive.

I hope this leads you to solve your problem,Please let me know by Voting for the Quality of my Solution.

1998 Acura. Wants to start. Replaced battery 6 months ago. Clicking, lights on dash flashing. Eventually it starts after quite a few tries 130.000 miles. I have never really had any maintenance done tune up...

do a tune up. replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, pcv valve, clean up the throttle body plates, clean the mass air flow sensor that comes from the throttle body to the air filter assembly. Check your positive and negative battery cables. Make sure the cables are clean and tight on the battery and the grounds and also the starter relay on the starter as well.

Poor Gas Mileage

its on the fire wall yes it will help some i wouldnt expect a drastic change in fuel economy because acura dosent have a replacement schedule for fuel filters like most car companies. id check your air filter and if your check engine light is on it will seriously kill your mpg. hope this helps
