Headlights are changed from within the engine compartment... if it's the side the battery is on.. it will likely need to be removed first... do not touch the bulbs with your fingers as that shortens their life.

The bulb clips into an assembly that slides in behind the light. You twist the assembly out, and take out the bulb. Be careful not to break the plastic latch that holds the bulb. I use a flat blade screwdriver to gently lift the latch. Push the new bulb on, and make sure it's secured under that plastic latch. Line up the assembly & notches going in behind the light, push in and twist it back in.

If your light is out on the driver side, you will have to take the battery out before replacing the burned out bulb.

I just bought a 2006 Suzuki Forenza Wagon. Has 136,*** miles on it, but drives great. But, the back seat dome light doesn't work. I bought replacement bulbs, but i can't figure out how to pop the c

I don't know for sure but some cars have a "DOME OVERRIDE" button usually somewhere the light switch on the dash. Not seeing your car the dome covers mostly require only slight pressure on either of the longer sides to remove, press against the side and at the same time pull downward.

There was a recall for this problem...There is a wire harness replacement they will do for you. I had it replaced and still after about 6 months I had to replace a bulb.

No headlights

I found the connectoers to the headlights to be un weather proofed. I went to auto zone or advance auto to buy replacement connectoers, The replacement I bought had 3 wires, Black, Red, Green, and they have a rubber protective boot so as not to fail again. Turn off the car and disconnect your battery.
1. Pull the plug on the headlight
2. cut the wires
3. Black to black, blue w/red stripe to green, and blue to Red. I would use **** connecters with a heat shrink, or just tape really good with black electrical tape.
4. plug new connector in to headlight and test. Should be ok now.

Headlight

This is always caused by moisture getting into the headlight lens assembly, the surface of the bulb is about 500 degree's, if any moisture even a tiny bit gets on the bulb is cracks the glass and the filament burns out, the leak will be in the electro-static seal weld of the lens edge and is a common concern on all models of cars that use a plastic lens and separate bulb setup. Solution replace the headlight lens, they are cheap and can be bought from partstrain.com, about $60.00
