Question about 1997 Nissan Maxima
I have a 1997 Maxima that has two dtc's P0325 & P1320 and am looking for the best possible direction to go to repair this. I am an ex heavy equipment mechanic so just need help on the troubleshooting and possible solutions. Thanks for any help.
The two codes seem to be related. The P0325 description is knock sensor circuit malfunction and the P1320 is ignition signal - circuit malfunction.
I'll summarize and then give links on more detailed articles I found. Basically the P0325 refers to the knock sensor and associated wiring. The P1320 refers to the ignition coil and wiring. Check the sensor, coil, and associated wiring.
I found some great articles:
P0325 - http://www.obd-codes.com/p0325
P1320 - http://autorepair.about.com/library/a/1i/bl039i.htm
