Question about 1995 Buick Riviera
Sometimes when I turn my ignition to start my car I get a buzzing sound and the car doesn't turn over. After 1 or more attempts it will start. Could this be associated with the the chip in my ignition key not making the resistance required for the security? well i am having the same problem but i did not hear a buzzing sound the car would not start
Even with a fully charged battery, if the terminals are oxidized, you will have a "break" in the connection when the electrical demand is high (starter draws more than just about anything else in vehicle)
Before worrying about anything else, remove the battery leads and clean them (both on battery and inside surface of cable ends. This cures over 80% of most starting problems and MUST be done before any further testing, or values obtained for tests will be inaccurate.
