Question about 1999 Chevrolet Express
I had an alternaror go bad. The last time I drove it, the speedometer was unstable, the engine would miss, the trans shifted eraticly, the ABS light lit. I'm afraid the alternator damaged the ECM. The alternator has been replaced along with the belt tensioner and idler pulley. The same still happens.
I checked all the fuses I could find. I suspect I have missed a few. I just recieved a set of factory manuals on this thing. Talk about information overload. 4 large books. I'm going to be busy for a while.
