Clarification: 2002 MR2 spyder O2 sensor

Guru,
You explained that one is located before the c/converter and one is located after. I need to replace sensor 2, after the c/c. When looking into the engine, is that the one on the left or ob the right?

there is no circuit fuse for the o2 sensors they are controlled by the computer.

Why does water stand under the seats of my MR2 Spyder?


each side has a rain drain and there is a plastic filter that clogs, it is hard to find but it is under the flaps of the convertible top. try not to ruin the canvas when unvailing filter.

Your oxygen sensor is located in your air intake manifold .disconect your air intake pipe and check inside or laternatively (from outside ) see where and elctrical cable is connected on your air intake line

My 2003 MR2 spyder engine lights on... i ask one of the mechanic to test why the light is on...he say that the problem is the bank one od2 sensor circuit heat something..i cant tell which on is it cause...


its called the downstream o2 sensor. its usually located after the catalytic converter under the car.you will need a special socket to remove/install it your can get it at your local parts store

bank 1 sensor 2 that means the side where cylinder #1 is the second sensor so it is by the cat or after
