Question about 2001 Saturn L-Series
2001 Saturn L-series... had an amp and subwoofer wired in 24 hours before this happened and drove it that night and the next day no problem, until last night, so I don't think that caused this problem. Turned on the headlights, went to go back out of my parking spot, and the gauge lights shut off. Needles still light up and the dimmer can still adjust the brightness on them. The strip of lights by the auto shifter doesn't work, and neither do the lights for the A/C controls. No blown fuses can be found. Tail lights, blinkers, locks and windows all work so it's just isolated to those lights. Any ideas?
Have you taken the shifter light out(easiest to check)removed the globe and checked for power at the globe socket and wether the globe is still working?
