Question about 1987 Ford Bronco

1 Answer

No spark and no fuel

I have an 87 bronco full size with a efi 5.0 everything ran great and we were out on a dirt road when it suddenly quit and would not start it would turn over but not start, I thought it was the fuel pumps at first cause i could not hear them anymore when i turned the key on and then looking further into this problem i found that i had no spark either someone told me to replace the ignition controle module located in the dist, and i did but it did not help, and the weird thing is i do get a little spark from the ignition just as i stop cranking on the starter this one has me stumped!

Where is fuel filter on 1988 ford bronco?

I believe you will find your fuel filter on the driver side frame rail. There is also a little device that in the event of a roll over cuts off the power to the fuel pump. It is usually located in the passenger side kick panel of most Ford's. There is a button on it. If it is popped out you need to press it in to reset it. It is similar to a GFI. Ground fault interrupt circuit.

I have an 87 Bronco, full size with 5.0L efi. I can shift from 2wd to 4wd his with no problem. I can also put the transfer case in Neutral. The transfer case will not go into 4wd low. Also must shut...

This is going to be in the synchros in the T-case. The most economical way is to either have the unit rebuilt or replaced used. If you need any other info, let me know.
