Wrong answer, you need to fix whatever is causing the light to illuminate. You need the management system to work in order to have engine longevity and reasonable economy. What you need to do is have the error codes extracted from the system computer, remembering that the code is a CLUE and not necessarily causing the issue.

SOURCE: tahoe engine warning light is on, amber in color and looks like an engine 2004 tahoe

take your tahoe to autozone for a free "check engine" light test. This will not tell you the pin point problem, but will narrow is down to at two to three errors.

Where is the transmission warning light in the display

In most vehicle, Transmission warning light incorporated in Check Engine light (ie, when you pull check engine light codes, transmission trouble code will be among it, if there were any), other case, its in your PRNDL indicator light (ie. PRNDL light will blink when transmission has problem), and in another case, you need to have a special scaner that capable of pulling transmission trouble code. I hope it helps :)

Meaning of warning lights

Manufacturers spend billions of dollars a year refining their cars' on-board diagnostics systems. However, all of the sophisticated diagnostics in the world will do little good if you don't know what the warning lights mean.
Purpose
Modern automobiles have dozens of sensors to monitor engine, braking and chassis performance. Any deviation from the car's established limits will trigger a dashboard warning light.

Check Engine Light
Check engine lights can indicate failure of the emissions system, fuel injection system, faulty sensor feedback, overheating or lack of voltage, transmission failure, and engine knock ignition system failure.

Brake Lights
Almost all cars have two separate lights for the braking system: a red "ABS" (anti-lock braking system) light and "Brake Warning" light. The former indicates failure of the electronic anti-lock system, the latter a loss of fluid pressure in the brake system itself.

Dynamic Warnings
Many modern cars have traction or stability control systems that prevent and notify the driver of tire slippage. These lights can come in the form of amber "SLIP," "TC," or "TRACTION" lights (for spinning tires), or "ESC" (electronic stability control) lights for a sliding vehicle.

Safety Lights
Most cars have a diagrammatic warning that indicates a door that isn't all the way closed, a seat-belt warning light, and an "airbag disabled/enabled" light. Any or all of these will be red or amber.

My service engine light just came on and i'm wondering what that might mean and what i need to do about it now.

service due light or engine management light??
service light should be a spanner symbol engine light should be amber -yellow colour and looks like a gearbox.
service light.check if your vehicle is due a service if so book it in with your main dealer for a service and they will reset the warning indicator ,or if you know someone local who maintains your car they can reset the service light by holding in the reset trip button whilst turning ignition to pre start position on the display it should count down from ten -0 then reset itself and the light should go out.
management light
this can only be looked at by a suzuki main dealer where they have the correct diagnostic equipment .
dont worry to much if the car feels and drives ok its probably picked up a small fault in the ecu and will be cleared with the diagnostic check .

Jeep 95 warning lights ?

The gentleman above gave you the correct starting point. There are red and amber lights. Amber usually indicates a problem with the engine electronics or emissions system. Red lights are related to charging or alternator problems and engine overheating. If a light comes on you need to check the related system before you wind up disabled on the side of the highway.
