Have a 95 thunderbird dash lights

Have a 95 thunderbird, dash lights will not work, they used to come on and go off now will not come on at all. I changed the headlight switch (per Ford), still no dash lights. Any suggestions?

If you pull out your gauge cluster,behind it you will find the bulbs for the dash lights.
might be the problem...7mm socket and extension required..

My 95 thunderbird makes a ticking after it is started,it continues for about 5 minutes and stops. Also it happens sometimes when I turn on the air condition. The heater also will not turn on. What co


Heater does not come on for a few minutes on purpose. The system waits until engine coolant is warm so fan not blowing cold air on you. The ticking can be the heater waiting to get turned on (air door closed) if sound seems to be coming from dash. System should work right away if you use A/C though.

Dash and blinkers for 1989 Ford Thunderbird


The dash lights should work in any position. If you mean the warning lights, that and the turn signals go thru the key switch, so that could be a problem with that switch.

sounds like a connection at the dash lite switch or the switch itself

Ok heres whats going on i jumped a car with my ford thunderbird and its a 95 now the dash board lights the ashtray light and where u shift from revese forward and so forth are not lighting up and also out...


Most likely it is just a blowen fuse...Your fuse box should have a digram on the back of it and tell you what fuse it is and whattege.....also if you have a book on your car "owners man.) it will have the fuse digram in there and tell you what fuse to replace good luck to you.

u hav a bad earth lead the next time it does it put a jumper cable 4m earth on batery 2 a clean pice of metal on engine if ur dash lights come on take offlead goin onto body clean wit sand paper

Break lights


theres a switch on the brake pedal that activates the ights. if fuses are good and power to switch probably a bad brake light switch

you can use a regular obd 2 code reader on that 95 tbird.get one at autozone and follow their directions. the plug is under the dash on the passenger side below the glove box.
