Question about 2003 Ford Focus
2003 Ford Focus holds 4.5 quarts of oil. What they probably did is they didn't start the motor first and it would show full. If they would of started it after they put the oil in they would of noticed. If you change it again n they put 4.5 quarts in it n it still short on the stick u must have the wrong so mark it with something so u know where it's at. I hopes this helps.

Hi michelle2551,providing the oil dipstick is the right one for your car then if it reads 1/2 qrt low it should be topped up typically when an oil change is performed and the car is started it will fill the oil filter therefore appearing a little low, it may read full initially but once it is run and shutoff it reads low follow the manufacturers oil level indicator and top it up hope this helps good luck
