SOURCE: New Battery, new alternator, on

Most important when you replace the battery or alternator is to check the charging current to the battery. If not the RECTIFIER/REGULATOR IS FAULTY. You must check the alternator voltage to the rectifier/regulator and then the output which is the charging current in parallel to the battery.
There is a reverse voltage diode to prevent reverse flow to the alternator therby draining the battery.
So check this circuit and I hope this could be the fault.
Please check and comment , if helpful vote me.

What does it mean when the "check the charging system" on a 2007 Ford Sport Trac? It cranks but doesn't start.

Sounds like alternator problem--if it will start with a 'jump' then likely the alternator is not recharging the battery, could also be a slipping belt-- try a jump start and also check all electrical connections for corrosion and make sure the connections are tight

2001 sport trac intermittent trying to start the motor,It has a new battery, but that didn't help,it will work for a few days, and then it doesn't start again.

Had the same problem last year. Turned out to be fuel pump. Tech at a local TLE said it was going out. Took almost a month to get dealer to agree (four trips) and change out pump. Had gas tank cleaned out also, years of buildup inside clogging pump. No problems in the year since.

Truck want start up without an jump

Sounds like a dead battery. You need the battery to start the car, but once it is running the engine runs completely off of the alternator (which also recharges the battery if the battery is still good).

Gauge shows battery not recharging

There could be a couple of causes, the most likely is a bad battery cable or connection, or the fusible link on the positive connection(marked bat on the alternator)has gone bad.
