Question about 2006 Chrysler Crossfire
I would like to found out how to remove the stock manual shifter knob from my 2006 Chrysler crossfire and replace it with a leather shift knob.
I think there is a set screw in the side you have to loosen and then unscrew knob

Usually there is a nut on the bottom of a shift knob that needs to be loosened, then the knob just screws off. Use a wrench, if it's hexagonal, if it's just round or there is no nut it may just screw off. It will be really tight though, be prepared to have to really crank on it to get it loose. The new one should just thread back on. You may need to install a nut on the bottom to adjust the rotation of any pattern or gear shift diagram on the new one.
