Check your fuel pump you might have a weak pump or you might also have a glow plug or plugs out.

It could possibly be back injectors because it is a long too much fuel to leak into cylinders and when you try to fire the motor the fuel that is in the cylinder is causing it hydrolockwhich could seem like you had a bad battery because it is taking so much effort to crank the motor pass this hydrolock cylinder
