Control Auxiliary problems-car won't start

I used a diagnostic reader to troubleshoot why my truck won't start. the code P1610 came up which is Manufacturers Control Auxiliary Input/output . Can that be the reason my truck won't start? Is the "Control" auxiliary different than the auxiliary adaptors. I have sirius radio installed...could it be possible that that is the problem...an electrical situation?

What is p16ff code for nissan

all of my research keeps coming back to p1610 for the P16ff Code but I am not sure.
The code P1610 is a problem with the NATS, or better known as system of vehicle immobilizer. And this arose out of the following:
-are using a q-key is not registered or not transmitting the code
- BCM or ECM are evil, and
now is in "locked mode"
you can do something quick:
1. Confirms the code q yields
2. EXIT THE LOCKED MODE. If the code is p1610 continues with the following with a copy of the vehicle key:
(1) -Place the switch to OFF
(2) -Place the switch in ON with the key registered(do not start the engine). Wait 5 seconds
(3) -Returns the switch to the off position. Wait 5 seconds
(4) -Repeat step 2 and 3 two more times (being a total of 3 times) (
5) -Starts the engine
with this test and write us if t worked. If this is not the case there will be q enter to detail by checking with the diagnostic charts and other things.
The other code does not exist or does not comply with the structure of a code

P1610 and P1614 Keys won't turn for Lock Position on Ignition Lock Cylinder

Not sure what the problem here is.
The codes are for the security system - - the key is not sending a signal or the right signal for the car to start.
Could be a problem with the lock cylinder which may have a sensor for the key inside it.

Pathfinder would not start

This seems to be a security issue. Do you have any other TRANSPONDER on the key ring ? If so remove them. Also try another key.
