How do I change a front bumper on a ford escort MK7?

    Im also having severe trouble locating the nuts to remove the front bumper on my mk7 escort finesse? any help please

This one is easy ,remove the plastic interior mudguards remove the indicator headlight units and front grill ,then look for the bolts

The bolts are located by either side of the radiator but i believe that you will have to undo the radiator support bolts & tie the radiator up to the front panel to keep it out of the way.

You have to remove the front bumper cover. Put the car on jack stands (the front) and remove the inner fender plastic. You'll need a long extension and a 10mm socket to remove the nuts and bolts holding the bumper cover in place. Once the cover is off removal of the headlight becomes obvious.

I need to fit rear shocks to my mk7 escort how do i do it


jack the car up and put it on axle stands remove the bolt at bottom of shock, remove the nut at top of shock then remove from car, use spring compressor to compress coil spring then remove top nut and mounting and spring, re-fit parts removed to new shock in reverse order then re-fit to car

its just the bumper cover.. once you buy the bumper cover it will replace your broke one,, however you my need to buy a bumpercover support..i think its only about $30 more..good luck keith...
