If you mean where is the EFE Heater located on the car, it is located between the throttle body and the intake manifold. If you want to know where to buy a replacement your local auto parts store should be able to order one or may even have the part in stock.

I have a skoda Fabia 1.9 Sdi 2002 model saloon ,my rear demist does not work ,I have put in a new switch and checked the fuse but still no luck any ideas please

Use a 12 volt test light and check for voltage at the heater grid on the glass, it may be an open circuit. The grid can be repaired with a factory grid repair kit ( special conductive paint).

Rear window heater faulty

If the problem is in the grid then the rear window must be replaced or the break in the grid found and repaired with a special kit. Get a 12 volt test light and probe the grid to see if it has power to it.

Driver bottom seat heater doesn't work

In a lot of cases the heater grid is defective. However, you will have to check for power and ground under the seat at the grid connector to verify

Wont start unless sprayed with starting fluid

I am going to assume ( dangerous) that you have a diesel. If the grid heater is working it is not advisable to use starting fluid because it can combust in the intake manifold. However, if the intake heater was working, you will not have any starting problems above 0F. I would check your grid heater for power and continuity. There could be a fuel delivery issue, but starting fluid usually does not fix that.

06 ford 500 heated seat does not work fuses okdriver side

The problem is very likely a faulty seat heater grid. the seat heater is just like the grid in an electric blanket, the driver side gets the most use and is the first to fail. Since this is a fairly expensive repair you will need to confirm the grid heater is the problem and not the timer switch. This requires a skilled Ford tech to diagnose the system and the dealer is the best place to have this diagnosed.

How can I find out what has gone wrong with my headed seat? On/off switch lights, but seat doesn't get warm. This first began with the seat getting too warms at times, now nothing. Thank you in...

The most common problem with these heated seats and all heated seats is the actual heater grid in the seat... it is basically like a heating pad that you have in your house except thinner and smaller, these grids usually will shot out causing the syptom that you stated the seat will seem to get really hot and then just quit working all together if you disconnect the connector for the heater grid and it has power and ground than the grid is bad the connector is usually a two pin connector under the seat.... What ever you do do not unplug any Yellow connectors as they are for the air bag system... If you need more information let me know i will be happy to help

Rear defrost quitlight comes on but does not defrost window

u will need to test the grid for continuity, using a volt meter make sure you have power to the grid at the connectors, if u do move on to testing the grid bars, each one should have power from side to side, the voltage will drop or increase as u move across the grid from the load of the heater bars.

Rear Defroster

12 volts is supplied to the grid across the glass.Turn rear defrost on and check for voltage and continuity across the grid...any broken spot in the grid will cause an open circuit and inoperative heater.

Seat Heater won't work

I have found that is the grid fails the light will not light, it is not just a switch, it also has a timer circuit in it, when the grid burns out it will in most cases short out, this destroys the switch module, so both will have to be replaced to correct your problem. I base this diagnosis on 30 years of new car dealer work as a technician.
