Re: key in ingnition will not turn steering whelel
Push in the key, while turning at the same time. If it still does not turn freely. Try wiggling the wheel a little bit. Do not put too much force, the key may break inside the switch. If that does not work, make sure the car or truck is level . Preassure on the wheels places preassure on the sterring wheel also. Then try again.

Place ing key in ingtion make sure u r in park or clutch if a stick shift is pushed all the way to the floor, then grab stering wheel tight turn wheel to left and hold while turning ing key, or try turning wheel to right while trying ing key, steering wheel can lock with pressure causing ing key to be non turnable same with transmision, park or clutch to the floor. Hope this helps
Hi, the problem you could be having is with the steering lock, if this has locked in a funny position it can be hard to get it to unlock.
what you need to do is when you put the key in try turning the steering wheel left and right as far as it will go whilst turning the key to on position, now its going to be hard to move so you will need to use some force turning the wheel try turning it left whilst turning the key forwards and backwards and the same turning right, once the steering wheel has moved this should allow the key to turn and you will be able to start you car.
let me know if it fails to work then i can assist you further ok
