Thanks guys! but I got a remedy, a friend of mine told me to disconnect the hose from cylinder head cover ( not the one from pcv valve) going to to the air cleaner and it works! no more check engine and d4 flashing. I cant find the logic on that but it actually works for me, i just end up buying a $2 plug from parts store to plug both hoses. hope this might help to others having the same problem too.

D4 is flashing as a trouble code for the automatic transmission... i would say without research that it is a code for a transmission solenoid. maybe while washing the car some water got in and caused a short...these solenoids are usually weatherproof....you could try disconnscting the battery for 30 secs..to clear the trouble code and then start the car. remember you may lose your preset info!

This light is indicating a fault in the automatic gear box, it can be excessive slippage (you may feel nothing unusual) or other problems. you must have it scanned by a dealer or ****** repair shop to find out what is causing the light to come on.

I have a 1997 honda accord lx 6 cylinder 24 valve engine that the check engine light is on and the D4 light was blinking yellow and then now is blinking green. what could be the problem?

The check engine light comes on if there is an issue. But Honda also has preset the Check engine light to come on to remind you of oil changes. If you want to shut the Check engine light off. There is a Yellow Reset Button inside the Fuse panel.

92 honda accord lx D4 flashes

you have a transmission fault the D4 light blinks to tell you that there is a transmission problem when the light is blinking the transmission computer put the transmission into limp home mode so it will not shift normally and you should try not to drive it very far when it gets to this stage you need to have the transmission codes check to pin point the problem
