The gap should be gaped at 30 to 35 personally I would gap at 30 so it will burn hotter and give more boost with out burning a hole in your pistons

Cant find spark plugs on 97 ce lancer


Each plug should be under a coil - you may have to remove a plate in the center of the valve cover to access them.

2001 ce lancer miss fires under acceleration(at its worst in second gear) but idles fine..any ides?


check plug gaps 25th ,but it could be anything from a coil pack to a mass air flow sensor which is what i would most likely check out first

Spark plug gap for 1990 Mitsubishi Lancer


hi, in the american database for alldata, there is no lancer in 1990, if your engine is dohc, or sohc though, i checked 2.0 and 1.8, both are 1.0mm - 1.1mm gap. shouldn't be any problem running at these gaps, most every mitsubishi engine runs at this spark plug gap.

Yes. On a stock 98 no less than .055" nor greater than .060", is acceptable.

Changed spark plugs and wires on 98 dodge ram. Now it backfires and has no power


Make sure that the firing order was not changed when you took the spark plug wires off of the plugs. You might also want to double check the gap on the plug. Let me know if neither of these were it.

NGK plugs work well in the A4, and the OEM gap on a non-modified car is .032".

LOOK UNDER THE HOOD, SEARCH AROUND AND YOU WILL SEE A WHITE STICKER WITH THE ENGINE FAMILY/DISPLACEMENT AND ON THE BOTTOM OF THE STICKER THE MANUFACTURER GIVES YOU THE SPARK PLUG GAP. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK
