Digital dash on 1992 blazer is not working?!?

I have a 92 blazer with a digital dash. The dash is completely black as in no gage works i pulled it out didnt see ne burns on it.It worked wen i parked it then i didnt drive it for 3 days and now it doesnt work ne advise?

Pull the dash cluster out break it down find the green board there is a little square board on it about 2x2 raised off the green boar. Get a solder sucker and desolder it. Pry that square off take get your solder iron hot take roson-core solder and touch it to the iron should make a bead of solder on the end touch it to the existing soulder on the square board until it turns to liquid add more solder do it to all of the solder points replace square an d solder it back in and do the some to all the solder points on the green board reassemble put it back In to the dash. A guy on e bay is charging 100+ to do the same thing that you can do for 20 and be careful not to burn your self and be patient it take a while for the iron to heat up. Good luck!

1 Battery completely dead. check and replace if bad.
2. Check all battery cables at both ends. Clean and tighten.
3 Check all fuses and circuit breakers
4 Check alternator output. not over 13 volts replace check alt belt tighten
B4 buying a batt or alt make all the checks and test after each one for power/start

2001 chevy blazer replaced fuel pump with fuel pick up switch and fues guage still does not work

THERE SHOULD BE 3 WIRES, FROM PUMP/SENDER UNIT, 1 WIRE FOR PUMP POWER, 1 WIRE FOR GROUND, & 1 WIRE FOR FUEL GAGE, THE FUEL GAGE WIRE GOES DIRECTLY TO GAGE , INSPECT THIS WIRE , MAY CHANGE COLOR ON ITS WAY TO GAGE, WIRE MAY HAVE BEEN DAMAGED UNDER TRUCK, ALONG FRAME RAIL, OR HAS BECOME CORRODED, A BUMP IN THE WIRE INSULATION(CORROSION), ALSO, CHECK ALL GROUNDS, REPEAT, ALL GROUNDS TO FUEL PUMP CICUIT, EVEN IF THEY LOOK OK, THEY COULD BE BAD GROUNDS, YOU NEED GOOD GROUNDS TO COMPLETE ANY CIRCUIT !!! 2001 TRUCK, I'D QUESTION YOURS !!!!! The digital dash is completely dark, have all lights outside the vehicle but no dash lights

Make sure the panel light dimmer switch isn't turned way down on the headlight switch. If that's OK the dash will have to be replaced or sent in for repair.

92 Jimmy digital dash has gone black

You need to get a new dash.The back lighting has died and needs to be replaced.I had the same year,make and model with the same problem and thats what it took to fix it.

Fuel gage is not working along with odometer checked for fuses did not find took apart dash found nothing there what should i check next. Tempature gage and oil pressure gage still work fuel gage is right...

when you pulled the top of the dash off did you check the cable connection to the insturment cluster. i had a similar problem where my gauges died individually including the spedo and tach. slapping the dash usually would cause the gauges to start working again, but that quit also and i had to tear the cluster out and check the conneciton. that fixed the problem.

My 1992 s-10 blazer head lights work but the digital dash will dim with either the parking or headlights on when they are off the dash works fine, have replaced the dash itself and checked the switch and...

You Digital dash is working as it should, it is supposed to dim with the lights on so your eyes don't have to adjust, from looking ahead to checking speed and back

Odometor stop working on 92 Saturn SL1

Take out your gages under the dash and send them out to get fixed they are speed operated. What most likely happend is the dial in back the odometer is stripped.

Gas gauge

I have a 92 Ranger that has the same issue. After doing some online research I felt sure it was a bad fuel level sender. However I installed some new dash light bulbs a couple of months back and the fuel gage started working, if only for a few days. I'm now thinking the connector on the back of the gage assembly is not making good contact on the fuel sender circuit. You might want to try to clean the contacts with an eraser and see if that helps.
