Hi. I have a problem with all 4 of my windows. They stopped working, the circuit braker under the back seat gets super hot. I replaced it with the one from my power seat (the same) and they started working again. Ordered a new braker, got it, put it in, worked for 2 weeks then stopped. It gets very hot even if the car isn't driven, when i tried replacing it with the seat one again, the fuse box started sparking at me and the other one got very hot in a split second. What type of electrical problem may this be? Seems like the power from the battery is high and never shuts off, so the braker constantly overheats

Well the window and seat problem is probably a broken wire in the harness between the door and body open rubber boot and inspect and repair
the fuel i would start by checking for power at connector back by fuel tank you should have power with key on for about 10 seconds then turn key off and wait for a few seconds and try if you have power it is probably the fuel pump

Car turns over but won't start fuel injector fuse and ignition fuses are good but no power is getting to them. also the stereo and wipers only work when ignition is on accessory. when its on r

Sounds like it could be a bad ignition switch-the electrical part, not the lock cylinder. When key is in the on position (run), those fuses should be powered. Are all the maxi-fuses good? They distribute power throughout the car's electrical circuits-like the fuse panel, for instance, so check the maxi-fuses. If good, probably the ignition switch is bad.

Lost electrical power to fuel pump

There are many reasons why fuel pumps have no power, most (in tank) fuel pumps fail due to low fuel inside of tank.

These fuel pumps turn at an alarming rate which in turn causes an alarming amount of heat. This heat is then dissipated by the fuel inside of the tank itself. If the driver/operator allows to run the fuel very low and continue to do so, this will over time allow for the fuel pump to overheat due to the ONLY source used to cool the fuel pump is the fuel inside of the fuel tank itself. Electrically, view the operator's manual or similar source to locate fuel pump fuse and/or relay of which will open the electrical path when the fuel pump overheats.
This should be a pretty good starting point to locate/isolate electrical issue you may be experiencing.

Good Hunting to you & hope this gets you back on the road soon!

1998 olds 88 wont start no power windows or seats

i don't have a solution but my car did the same thing in october 2009 and i still have not had it repaired. I am told it is something electrical because its your fuel pump is not coming on and that is why the car is not starting but it doesnt make since why the windows and power seats dont work. I have also been told the only thing that connects the 3 of them is the body control module.

Electric door locks will not work!!! Is this a fuse problem, and if so which fuse is it (NONE are labeled doorlock)

Have you checked the Maxi fuses under the hood in the engine compartment. Most powered windows, doors, seats and so on have a Maxi Fuse. It should be labeled on the box itself. If this doesn't work, you can try replacing the relay.

Engine dies and won't restart. Cranks fine, but not run. Oddly, the electric seats quit working at the same time. Can test to see if will run just by testing to see if seats move. Has to be electrical, but...

Could be plugs, distributors, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel injectors for the starting part. Remove the seat, remove the controls and .lean and replace the plastic plugs in the seat motor repack with plenty of grease.
