A dump valve replaces the recirc valve. Did you see the reply to your prior post on this topic that I put up the other day? You can do it but it'll cost you your catalytic converter and O2 sensors - that has been proven out many times in the past. If you don't care about that and don't mind spending $1200-1500 every year or 18 months to replace those parts, then go to www.audiworld.com or www.audidiy.com and look in the tech areas - there are step by step procedures there that walk you through recirc valve replacment. They'll show you how to fit an aftermarket recirc valve, but you can follow that procedure to do a BOV as well.
Seriously though, as I said before, some cars are fine with BOVs but Audis are not. You're going to cost yourself a LOT of money just for the sneeze sound and slightly slower turbo spool. Your car and money though so it's your decision.

These cars Have a fault with the Crankshaft damper breaking up.This is all fitted in the bottom crank pullyRemove the bottom pully and check.I think you will find that damaged.I have had this problem before on audi vw seat.
Don't do this on an Audi. They have used a recirc valve because the mass-airflow metering system on the car is telling the engine that a certain amount of air is coming, and the engine is being fueled accordingly. If you use a blowoff valve to purge excess boost air to the atmosphere, the engine will still be expecting to see this air and will be fueling accordingly, and you'll get a rich spike every time you shift. This rich spiking has been proven MANY times to degrade and eventually clog/ruin the catalytic converter and O2 sensors. Some mass-air metered cars (less precise cars in terms of engine management) are fine when DVs are replaced with BOVs, but not Audi/VW cars - using an atmospheric dump will destroy your cat and O2 sensors (plan on $1500+ to fix this).
As you may know your car already has a dump valve, all turbo cars are fitted with one so its a matter of swapping, but beware if you do not fit a recirculating dump valve you may find a warning light on your dashboard as the ecu will register the drop in pressure as a leak, also you may find your performance will be worse, not better as the waste gases in a recirculatory dump valve are forced back in to keep the turbo spinning, so less lag
Is it a vent to air or recirculating one. Also it depends on manufacture, some are quieter than others, higher boost pressure will also make it sound louder but other factors are involved with this so I should take advise from your local shop.
