there is nothing wrong with the starter but if you keep doing what you report the stater motor will burn out
the problem is in the carburetor main jet circuit or fuel blockage to the carby
you report that it starts and idles so the electrics if fine but on acceleration it plays up which indicates that the air/fuel mixture is getting too lean
now it is time to overhaul the carby, check float level, check fuel flow from the tank( taps corrode internally and block flow)
being a quad bike it could have water in the fuel system or dirt in the filter
Sounds like a venting problem with the gas tank. There is a vent for the tank that could be blocked and not allowing pressure to equalize. Like sucking milk from a bottle without allowing it to vent. The vent could involve the canister purge system.
it sounds like the mass air flow metering sensor thats in the air intake pipe ,but any more than that iam at a loss as none of these cars here in spain so i cannot tell you exactly where to look
The hold light is on because the button on the left side of the gear selector is depressed. this causes the car to start off in second and doesnt go past third. This information is in your owners maual.
